September 18 – Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition meeting — The HOTHC was formed to promote, support, and develop rehabilitation services, resources, and treatment programs for persons who are homeless in the Heart of Texas Region. September 18 – Curtis Grimes Benefit Concert for the Testicular Cancer Foundation – The Testicular Cancer Foundation (TCF) is an organization dedicated to informing, educating, and supporting people who face testicular cancer, which is “the most common cancer among young men ages 15-35.” In support of TCF, country artist from NBC’s The Voice, Curtis Grimes, will perform a benefit concert sponsored by Shooter FM and kick off the 1st Annual WACKO Open weekend. September 19- Vegetarian Potluck with Waco Vegetarians – Come for the best meal of the month and great company! You don’t have to be a vegetarian to participate.
